4 Line Corded/Cordless Small Business System with Extended Range Reviews
We recieved our phone a few days back and set it up, the most important feature is the fact it actually sounds good, no more customers saying, pardon me, what, excuse me etc. Those were the comments we would get on the 2.5 year old Panasonic 4K series 4 line phone system I was very happy to unhook.br /Feature for feature both phones are very similar, if I had to guess ATT did a good job of copying Panasonics phone almost to the tee, except it actually excells at communications, which is the reason for a telephone to begin with.br /SOHO phone systems are at best difficult to find, the Panasonic 4K series was one of the few that actually was a small biz phone designed for a home office at the time we bought it. ATT thankfully has decided to enter the market and hasbr /improved on several features and as I stated very good sound was one of them. I give this phone a high marks for sound quality, ok feature's, and very good construction. Course if it falls apart 6 months from now I will submit a long term review at that point. br /There are very limited phones in this price point with these features and designed for a small office. The next step up is PBX systems of some sort, TalkSwitch etc. These systems will push you into the 2500 dollar and up price point, the Airway system from Canada operates in the 2.4ghz range and interfered with out WiFi unless they change something I would NOT recommend that system, we sent it back.br /So, if this system ultimately fails we will conclude its time to move into the realm of PBX and may try out a Talkswitch.br /br /GoodLuck!!!!

A quality product, easy to setup and use. Phone has excellent range. Occasionally there is a short "dropout" of the audio, perhaps only a syllable but overall a very good phone with very nice features.

We recently purchased this system with 3 additional cordless phones for our office (physician and therapist). After using it for less than a week, I have found two fatal flaws: 1) In order for intercom to work, ringer must be turned on on the cordless handsets--this means the doctor and therapist would hear each time the phone rings--more than 35 times a day! 2) The volume on the base cannot be turned all the way down, so it is possible to hear a person leaving a message from the waiting room--a breach of HIPAA. I would not recommend this system for a professional office.
